Adding numbers

Once you have your table ready, you can add the numbers.

For example, if you were creating a spreadsheet to help you budget, you could put in all of your incoming money into one cell.

Then on another row you could add some money that you’ve spent. In this example we’ve spent 20 on food.

Be careful when adding your outgoing figures, as  you must remember to put a ‘-‘ sign before the number.
