Without a device a connection to the digital world is impossible. We work to source as many devices as we can to ensure that everyone has access to one. Currently we are accepting phone donations if you have and old device going spare.
INTERNET ACCESS
Having a connection to the internet should not be an unaffordable luxury. The MDC works to list as many available resources in Manchester and works with other organisations to secure Internet access for those who need it the most.
LEARNING
Once you’ve got a phone and an internet connection, you need to learn how to gain all of the benefits the digital world has to offer. Here at the MDC we offer free online digital training courses and list other available courses in Manchester.
AWARENESS
Did you know, in the North West of England 12% of people still can’t turn on their device and log in? We believe that to tackle the issues surround digital exclusion more people need to become aware of digital exclusion and its implications.
