The Mouse

A computer mouse is tool that lets you naturally interact with your computer screen.

It is placed on a flat surface and is held in one hand. With your index finger resting above the button on the top left of the mouse.

Mice typically have a left and right button, along with a scroll wheel in the centre.

Although it is not unheard of to have more buttons on a more specialised mouse.

The Cursor

When you move your mouse, it’ll move the cursor across the screen.

The cursor is the arrow like shape on the animation next to this text.

You can see how it is able to select and then change the size of the box.
