By going onto the NHS website and using the search tool, you can find out more about a medical condition or worry that you have.

Be aware, however, that searching online can give you a worst-case scenario, try not to panic and if you are worried, it is best to book an appointment with your GP.

The first is to go onto the NHS website first, and then use the search box which can be found in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Using your Search Engine

The second is to use your search engine by specifying that you’d like your results to be on the NHS website.

To do this include the word “NHS” after your search. For example instead of searching “Sore throat“, search “Sore throat NHS“.
