Public or private account?

You can also decide whether you would like your profile to be ‘public’ or ‘private’. This means, if you make your profile private, then people/accounts would have to request to follow you. However, if your profile is public, then anybody can follow you and see your pictures. There are four main sections of Instagram; your Feed, the explore page, your activity page and your profile.
