Structuring a CV

The basic parts that a CV should include are:

  • Your name
  • Contact details (address, email address, phone number)
  • A short statement introducing yourself with an overview of your interests etc.
  • An outline of your work history which demonstrate relevant skills
  • Any education/qualifications that you have
  • 2 references (contact details of two people who can give information to a potential employer about any work you have completed in the past/can vouch for your skills/work ethic etc.)
