When using different websites, many of them will require you to create an account using personal details. For example, many shops require you to provide your bank details, address, date of birth etc., and so it’s important to keep this information safe. A good way to do this is by creating a strong password. See below for some tips on how to create an effective password: [/sayit]

While it can be safe to save your passwords onto your personal computer/device however it is never safe to do so on a shared computer. If you save your passwords to a public computer, other people who use this computer will have access to your personal details.

You should also be careful when downloading any documents onto a public computer. If you download a document to a shared computer in order to print it for example, be sure to delete it from the computer before leaving the computer. Also, be sure to empty the recycle bin afterwards as well.
